Lately, I’ve been receiving many password resets to this site. Thanks for reminding me I still have this.

I found this Ubuntu post and quickly do the same in my FC4 workstation…
Install hddtemp:

To check your HDD temperature:

/dev/hda: ST3120022A: 45°C
Red Hat Mail Server (Using Postfix and Dovecot)

Yahoo Instant Search
Yahoo! Instant Search gives you answers as you type — no more waiting!
Yet another AJAX application. Cool!
Orkut, Google University and Yahoo Mail Beta
New things I found today:
Orkut is now officially part of Google Services.
Google University as a portal of services for “students”? Browsing the site; I’m still kinda confused what this site is all about. Oh yeah one thing, if you have an .edu email account; you can have your gmail account without invites or SMS registration.
Yahoo Mail Beta preview seems promising as reported here.
Lastly, I’m trying SearchFox RSS right now and I’m trying to find and feel there promised “personalization and learning kind of intelligence”. I’m using actively both google.com/ig and start.com. So far both doing the job for me as my home and start pages to quickly give me the latest in my favorite sites. Let’s see how SearchFox RSS will compete with these two.
What so special with my WordPress.com?
Yesterday when I got an invite from Andy, I was so happy and excited – with so many people asking for this account; here I am just one click away from having my own WordPress.com account!
The real fun begins when I logged on as admin; the new dashboard is very noticeable and many other features I’m not seeing in my normal wordpress I downloaded and installed in strdoc.
So what I’ll gonna do with this wordpress blog that I have right now? Well, honestly I’m still thinking and formalizing what will be the format and the difference here from my main site. For now, I’m thinking of posting in strdoc all my longer documents, guides and howto; while here will be all my random thoughts and quick bits of anything and everything. That means more fun here; while serious stuffs will be in strdoc.
One for sure, I’ll keep this Sandro on WordPress very special and keep this running in the rest of my life!
Google Blog Search: Goodbye Technorati?
Google Blog Search is now up and running being the first major search engine (others like MSN and Yahoo) to offer full-blown blog and feed search capabilities.
Both available in blogsearch.google.com and search.blogger.com.
One of the cool thing is results are also available as RSS or Atom feeds; so if you want to monitor the blogosphere this is the way to go.
Goodbye Technorati?
